My Mommy Bakes

While pregnant with my first daughter and stuck on bedrest, I wondered what to do with my time. I came across an episode of Cake Wars, then Cupcake Wars, then Holiday Baking Championship. After binge-watching everything involving buttercream and a timer, I wanted to give it a try. After all, I had done enough "research". So I walked to my kitchen and baked a cake. Just like that. What started as a way to channel all my energy and creativity easily turned into a heartfelt passion of mine. Not only did I fall in love with baking, but also creating treats that are just as beautiful as they are delicious. The gift of transforming a few ingredients into the centerpiece of someone’s celebration is always an honor. My favorite part about what I do? the families, the themes, the creativity, the joy, the memories, and the celebrations. It continues to be a blessing to be able to contribute to those special occasions through something I truly love. I’m always learning, always experimenting, always excited to grow and perfect my craft because this journey has been nothing short of magical.
